Tocopherol is a reddish-brown to light yellow clear oily liquid with a mild smell and taste characteristic of vegetable oil. It is D-α-tocopherol extracted from sunflower oil.

Since vitamin E is an antioxidant, this means that it protects the body's cells from oxidative damage, a by-product of natural metabolism that is also caused by exposure to environmental pollutants.

Vitamin E, which is obtained from sunflower seeds and oil, helps the body make red blood cells and keeps the circulatory system running smoothly.
