Description of Vine Tea Extract,Dihydromyricetin

Vine tea, also be called as Cany tea or Ampelopsin.Dihydromyricetin is extracted from the young stem and leaf of Cany tea (Ampelopsin) Researches show than vine tea can relieve inflammatory, mixture cough and antitussives, it also has strong inhibitory effect to common bacteria can be found in food.

Some of flavonoids, for example Ampelopsin and Dihydromyricetin, are main active ingredients in vine tea,

which have almost same MIC and MBC comparing with berberine, and have high Free radical scavenging activity varies between 73.3~91.5%. It can also reduce oxidative damage in the body, anti-aging, reduce the deformation and tissue necrosis of animal liver.

Dihydromyricetin also have ability on lifting alcohol poisoning, prevent for AFL, inhibit the deterioration of liver cells, decrease the incidence of liver cancer. In these case Dihydromyricetin is consider as a good product for enhance activity of SOD, protecting liver and removing inebriation.

Dihydromyricetin now entered clinical trials as a class of new drugs when researcher of Dihydromyricetin achieved a major breakthrough in field of anti-leukemia and medicine of Nasopharyngeal cancer.

1.Anti-inflammation: The vine tea extract can effectively restrain the mouse pinna swelling caused

by xylene. It can also restrain the writhing response in the mouse caused by acetic acid.

2. Clearing the free radical in body and antioxidation: The vine tea extract can effectively

level down the lipid peroxidation. It can prevent the oxidative damage of antioxidase in

body caused by the free radical. Then it can improve the oxidation resistance of the

human body;

3.Antibiotic Action: The vine tea extract has the strong inhibitory action of staphylococcus

aureus and Bacillus subtilis. It also has inhibitory action of Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus

niger, penicillium and Alternaria. Dihydromyricetin has the inhibitory action of Staphylococcus

aureus, Staphylococcus aureus(S. aureus) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

4.Protecting the Liver: Dihydromyricetin has the strong inhibitory action of the rise of ALT

and AST in the blood Serum. It can low the total bilirubin in the blood serum. So it has the

strong action oflowing the aminotransferase and jaundice. The vine tea extract can restrain

the liver fibrosis in the rat.

5.Reducing the levels of blood sugar and blood fat: Dihydromyricetin can reduce the blood

fat levels in the mouse. It can decrease the damage to liver cells caused by the high blood fat

levels and improve the antioxidation ability. At the same time, it can low the levels of high blood

sugar.

6. Anti-tumor: The vine tea extract has effective restrain to cell proliferation of some tumor cells.
